Job Summary | The University of Utah College of Social Work is seeking a talented, energetic professional to provide support in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and professional environment. The position requires extensive in-person, phone, and email interaction with prospective students, student applicants, faculty, and other University and College staff. Candidates must have strong communication and customer service skills, organization and project management skills, and effective collegial and team player skills – capable of handling multiple tasks, projects, and relationships at one time. Responsibilities |
Job responsibilities may include driving. A valid Utah driver’s license and clean driving background as determined through screening required. Minimum Qualifications | Associate degree in business or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and three years full-time secretarial experience required. Demonstrated human relations and effective written and verbal communication skills required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices and direct supervisory experience preferred. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. |
