Village Truck Sales is seeking a full-time excavation laborer to join the team!

An Excavation Laborer is a critical member of a construction or excavation team responsible for supporting various tasks related to digging, grading, and preparing construction sites. This role involves physically demanding work and requires the ability to operate equipment, follow safety protocols, and contribute to the successful execution of excavation projects.

SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday

PAY: Based off experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in setting up and preparing the construction site for excavation, including removing obstacles and debris.
- Use hand tools and equipment to dig trenches, ditches, and foundations according to specifications.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other team members.
- Assist in the installation of shoring and trenching systems to prevent collapses and ensure worker safety.
- Fill excavated areas with soil and other materials, compacting them to the required density.
- Clean and organize the work site at the end of each day, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience Preferred but willing to train
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
