- Food service knowledge and/or experience preferred.
- Valid ServSafe Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Child Nutrition Director and Building Principal
JOB DESCRIPTION:

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate aptitude for successful performance of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Operates food service equipment as directed including but not limited to: dish machine, oven/range, convection oven, steamer, slicer, toaster
- Prepares and serves food according to the planned menu. Follows recipes and completes basic math calculations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Clean the lunchroom and kitchen as needed and at the end of meal service.
- Complete quality control activities including monitoring and recording temperatures for food equipment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Ability to exert up and lift up to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to physically work in a standing position for at least 4 hours continuously.
- Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures and wet environments.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- School year as set by administration based on school code and school calendar.
- Average of 35-40 hours per week (depending on position) during the school year.
- May include some summer hours
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation.
