About the Job

CoverMyMeds (CMM) is growing fast and with growth comes change. The Business Operations team is looking for a Director, Business Operations to lead the intentional planning & execution of our highest priority initiatives to support this growth. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading one or more of our complex initiatives in partnership with CMM leaders. Through a consultative approach, you'll have the opportunity to influence highly visible strategic priorities that comprise the fiscal year strategic plan.

This work can't be done by just one person, so you'll work in partnership with business leaders and their teams across the CMM business segment and involves tight collaboration with enabling functions (HR, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Strategy & Business Development).

Responsibilities.

Partner with key business owners to manage Investment Pipeline and Prioritization: This involves a deep understanding of the company's strategic goals and the ability to align investments with these objectives. This role will need to evaluate the potential impact and feasibility of various initiatives, making decisions on which investments should be prioritized. Shaping the Investment Strategy: Beyond just managing the current pipeline, this role requires a visionary approach to determine the future direction of investments. This might involve staying ahead of industry trends, especially in technology and AI, and understanding how they can be integrated into the company's strategy. In this role, you'll lead a small but mighty team responsible for some of the company's most critical work. This includes our workforce planning process, M&A work that impacts Operations, business continuity plans, and managing key partnerships in Columbus that support the business. This team helps serve as a partner to our Communications team on all Operations specific meetings and communications, including helping to execute Town Halls, Office Hours, and Lunch & Learns. Help manage a team that has continues to drive growth of employees by establishing curriculum and action plans based on our feedback from Operations EOS results. Provide support in shaping the Operations experience across the entirety of the employee journey within CMM by providing connectivity to CMMs onboarding, engagement, and development of our people. Support Operations with change leadership practices and integration strategies to prepare staff for effective change management as our business continues to evolve. Partner with the Business Operations Project Management team to ensure successful transitions from when a project becomes a long-standing program within Operations.

Skills and background you Need to be successful in this role

9+ years participating in organized process improvement efforts.
9+ years of project management or account management
3-5 years' experience leading people
Experience in a large, complex, matrixed organizations
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Experience with leading teams through relevant goals/objectives, priority tasks, and directly influencing enterprise change and growth strategies.
Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives during cycles of M&A, with significant experience in organizational delivery of large-scale people change management programs and initiatives.
Exhibit strong leadership skills, demonstrated in decision making, execution abilities, and always with people first mentality through the lens of our growth mindsets + I2care/iLead
Ability to work through processes, remain organized, and manage complex matters/cases and multiple stakeholders both virtually and in-person

Minimum Education & Experience:

Degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience in an operations role and 3 - 5+ years in leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).
MBA preferred.
MUST be Columbus OHIO based - No Relocation assistance offered.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$121,400 - $202,400
