Job Summary | The College of Lake County is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty, in Health Information Technology for the Spring 2020 Semester. The qualified candidate will need to Teach one or more of the following Health Information Technology courses: HIT 111: Medical Terminology HIT 113: Ethical and Legal Aspects of Medical Records The courses must be taught in accordance with current program approved course descriptions, course outlines, textbooks, and syllabi. Prepare lecture and lesson plans, teach lecture and/or lab portion of class, and respond to and grade student work. Associate degree and two (2) years’ tested experience in a health-related field.
For HIT 113: Ethical and Legal Aspects of Medical Records
Baccalaureate degree and Certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), and one (1) year tested experience in health information management.
