What’s a typical day as a Warehouse Operator? You’ll be: • Operating production equipment including robots, palletizers, and conveyor systems • Ensuring all applicable equipment is operating properly to prevent production line delays • Utilizing sit-down forklift to load and unload product shipments, stand-up forklift to rack and un-rack product, and electric ride on pallet jack to move and stage product • Reporting any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor • Understanding and complying with all Quality Assurance policies, and immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management • Preparing, staging, loading, and unloading trucks and containers safely and accurately • Matching incoming raw and finished ingredients to the bill of lading • Matching bills of lading to paperwork, container numbers, and seal trucks on outgoing product • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards • Picking and staging orders to be shipped • Keeping work area clean and organized • Inspecting forklifts and other material handling equipment • Maintaining department sanitation duties per sanitation schedule • Conducting inventories as needed
