Join us as an R&D Lab Technician, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.
A candidate for this position will have excellent lab skills across a variety of techniques to support a research lab focusing on development of medical adhesives and other devices.





RESPONSIBILITIES



What you'll do
Preparing and testing samples for a variety of physical and chemical properties tests including sheer, peel, adhesion, tensile strength, liner and carrier release, MVTR, pH etc.
Collate, interpret and analyze data including generating figures, etc.
Basic understanding of statistical techniques, data analysis and variability
Document data and results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
Received feedback and peer review of results generated by other analysts through an ELN
Troubleshooting and developing methods for material characterization
Training others on test methods as needed
General laboratory upkeep and supplies maintenance






QUALIFICATIONS



What you'll bring
B.S. in a chemistry, biology or related area of study
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Strong organization, computer, and statistics skills
Reliable and good work ethic
Detail oriented
Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
