Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the Rep force in a defined region while having responsibility for the revenue, gross margin and new business growth.
Research, develop, and implement strategic territory sales initiatives and programs in conjunction with Reps to achieve the Territory Sales Plan
Plan and implement strategies to identify opportunities, penetrate new business, and expand the market share within the territory.
Establish annual quota with quarterly updates and profitability goals for each Rep, tracking performance, rewarding success, supporting the effort to improve where appropriate.
Perform annual account reviews to evaluate Rep performance including ongoing review of Performance Report Cards and provide appropriate recommendations for territory growth.
Lead Rep planning to develop business plans that identify performance objectives, financial targets, milestones and key performance indicators
Support Rep in all facets of education, training & sales development
Organize and manage action plans for resolution or development of customer initiatives
Identify and develop a network of strategic customers committed to buying TCF products
Travel to Rep/Customer locations and maintain daily collaboration to support challenges, present solutions, and promote value proposition through TCF offerings
Execute and negotiate approved pricing to help Rep close opportunities
Maintain an understanding of TCF Products and ability to articulate our value proposition. Obtain and disseminate competitive intelligence to create and adjust sales strategies
Collaborate with TCF product management and marketing teams to provide guidance on new product development, pricing levels, discount strategies and other projects as assigned
Maintain accurate forecasting reports and database records of sales activities and transactions. Prepare progress reports to management on the status of all pending opportunities and critical customer-related activities
Prepare territory sales plan based on Rep location to ensure product coverage based on territory sales, and update plan as needed.
Follow up on sales leads, prepare quotations, make pricing recommendations, and communicate application requirements and specifications to others to prepare complex quotations, and follow up and report on all quotations in a timely manner.
Work with Marketing and participate in industry events/trade shows
Travel 30% to 50% visiting Reps, customers, vendors, and job sites

Skills and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) highly desired or equivalent experience in Sales capacity
Technical aptitude preferred
Construction sales cycle experience preferred
Experience

5+ years of sales experience
Sales through distribution
Territory sales management
CRM experience preferred
Experience working within a sales team
Technical sales preferred
