<b>Pay Range: $60.28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).</b> <br> <b>Key Requirements and Technology Experience: </b> <ul> <li>Develop amazingly efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs</li> <li> Enhance and maintain on prem and internal PAAS applications, and actively rework these to AWS along project timelines</li> <li>Help to design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications</li> <li>Build industry standard APIs and help with establishing, consuming & routing calls, connectivity protocols and policy</li> <li> Design, develop and implement architecture patterns that are optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost</li> <li>Look upstream and downstream to see around corners and anticipate future consequences for immediate technical choices</li> <li>Help to establish and grow a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including TDD/BDD and Test Automation (both Unit and Integration), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment</li> <li>Drive performance improvements including monitoring, detailed metrics, problems, trends, and costs, in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. that will make the function more efficient</li> <li> Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance with privacy rules and regulations early in the development</li> <li> Be aggressive to resolve and prevent technical debt</li> <li>Actively engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, with an aim to continuously improve</li> <li>Collaborate frequently to share ideas and gain perspective. Communicate critical information in a clear and timely manner, listen to others, and seek clarification to confirm shared understanding</li> <li>Initiate and lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts</li> <li> Create usable documentation/playbook(s)</li> <li> Effectively analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs - communicate these across the team</li> <li>Optimize pace and meet deadlines</li> <li>Administer product upgrades and patches</li> <li> Provide assistance and support other team members where required, including troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems/programs/applications</li> <li> 24/7 On-call support rotation function is a component of this role</li> </ul> <b>Key Requirements and Technology Experience: </b> <ul> <li>Agile/Scrum Methodology experience</li> <li>Backlog management and prioritization</li> <li>Good Communication Skills</li> <li>Facilitating design and development sessions</li> <li>Ability to create Technical Documentation</li> <li>7-10 years of experience hands-on experience designing, developing, integrating, and running enterprise business application</li> <li>2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS as a developer</li> <li>5+ experience with RDMS, Oracle DB, data modelling, data analysis, proficient in SQL development</li> <li>2+ Experience developing Angular applications</li> <li>2+ Experience developing with Python 3</li> <li>Experience is leading globally distributed software development teams</li> <li>Experience working with AWS services with an emphasis on managed services such as Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, S3, API gateway, AWS CI/CD stack, Red hat OpenShift, etc</li> <li>Experience developing infrastructure-as-code using AWS tools (e.g., Cloud Development Kit, Cloud Formation)</li> <li>Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Git, GitLab, Jenkins)</li> <li>Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies</li> <li>Experience is designing features with minimal oversight complying to established standards, break down features to stories and manage the execution</li> <li>Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Agility alias Versionone, JIRA)</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and capability to understand and set direction for complex technology integration</li> <li>Coordinate activities with internal and external technology service providers.</li> <li>Coach and mentor other developers on the team</li> <li>Experience with design patterns and implementation using microservices architecture</li> <li>Understanding or experience with loose coupling of front-end modules on AWS</li> <li>Experienced with deploying and managing infrastructures based on Docker, OpenShift, and AWS</li> <li>Knowledge of data engineering and experience with big data</li> <li>Experience writing complex SQL queries / PL SQL (e.g., queries involving joins and subqueries) and experience with RDMS databases like Oracle, AWS RDS, etc</li> <li>Understanding and focus on business outcomes</li> <li>Strong technical leadership skills, ability to effective lead, communicate and collaborate with Product Owners, Product Engineers, Architects, Developers and testers</li> </ul>Our client is a leading<b> Airlines </b>organization and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
