Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:


Define and lead Global Transformation Office program strategies
Define the Global Transformation Office program's goals, objectives, and strategic alignment
Develop a comprehensive Global Transformation Office program plan that outlines scope, resources, timelines, and dependencies
Take ownership of Global Transformation Office program and project budgets and manage overall delivery of them
Establish governance process & standard scorecards (uniform enterprise-wide) to track performance & problem solve issues and leverage insights to inform data-driven decision making
Communicate to the Program Management and Global Transformation Office leadership about the impact/trickle-down effect of changes on resourcing, their respective responsibilities and scope of work
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the planning, prioritization, execution of programs
Be the bridge between the Global Transformation Office program management, functional leads, and business partners
Plan future GTO program activity, including consultations with project sponsors, analysis of requirements and arranging timeframes
Work with vendors, partners, and external 3rd party teams to drive results, review scope, timelines
Define and track success measures to ensure alignment Global Transformation Office goals
Manage Senior/ Executive level stakeholders
Support cross functional product and delivery structuring, timeline development, and execution
Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy
Ensures that business and process needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current initiatives
Facilitate decision-making, arbitrate impasses, remove barriers when needed to drive project progress through complexity and timelines
Introduce leading indicators/ metrics that can predict outcomes of the Global Transformation Office program while enabling management decisions through program insights and key performance metrics
Collaborate with the product managers and educate them about the scope and progress of the project; coordinate across projects delivery, timelines, resourcing etc; receive inputs/feedback from Project Managers about execution
Leverage teams by educating them on program management tools and streamline tool support end-to-end (from intake to onboarding to execution)
Consult with value management to evaluate and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Develop and maintain lessons-learned inputs for program utilization on future projects
Develop and maintain a program governance structure for the entry, tracking, and reporting of all projects and programs in alignment with the business and key processes
Provide program / project updates to key leaders and stakeholder groups (e.g., roadshows, quarterly business reviews, monthly business reporting, steerco meetings)
Develop talent in the program management function to increase effectiveness, build diversity, and improve bench strength
Mentors, guide, and sponsor the development of key talent

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:


Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business)

Preferred:


PgMP (Program Management Professional) Certification
PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI- ACP) preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:


10+ years proven experience and a track record in program management within a B2C or B2B environment
Prior experience in multi-national manufacturing organizations, working mainly in IT transformation programs
Prior experience building, implementing, and tracking plans for large and complex programs that span multi-year, multiple geographies and have multiple delivery and support partners
Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
Broad base of technology and business experience including strategy, design, implementation, operations for application development organizations
Experience with multiple large-scale programs and projects, delivering enterprise class platforms and/or content management platforms is desired
Solid understanding of native application development, ecommerce systems, content management, analytics, infrastructure, and QA automation tools
Ability to analyze trends, data, and reports to come up with compelling solutions to complex problems
Ability to identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
Knowledge of ERP operating systems tools and databases

Preferred:


Ability to lead the technology teams as well as partner at a strategic level with the senior stakeholders
Possess great negotiation skills that help arrive at solutions with various competing stakeholders/ teams
High leadership capacity to influence others
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is preferred

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:


Holds an in-depth knowledge of business processes and has ability to work with diverse functions
Owns alignment with business units, functions and Global teams on the prioritization and timing of detail features & capabilities to meet current and future state customer needs across partnership strategy
Deep experience in program management with exposure to data warehousing, analytics engineering, BI and experience managing large scale programs
Prior experience building, implementing, and tracking plans for large and complex programs that span multi-year, multiple geographies and have multiple delivery and support partners
Experience delivering presentations and engaging with C-suite leadership
Ability to lead the technology teams as well as partner at a strategic level with the senior stakeholders
Ability to think strategically and anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational plans
Ability to analyze trends, data, and reports to come up with compelling solutions to complex problems

Preferred:


Strong drive for results with a high degree of flexibility, as agendas and stakeholders change very often during the programs
