capabilities. What does the job involve? POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to
the GM/VP of Operations, develops policies, procedures and objectives
for the operation of the Supply Chain process in accordance with
organizational objectives. Obtains necessary purchases at lowest cost
consistent with approved quality and delivery standards. Recommends
improvements in overall purchasing program which will advance the
interests of the organization. Responsible for the timely procurement of
materials, supplies, services, and equipment of required quality and at
the best price advantage to the company. Establish supply sources,
negotiate purchases as to price, specifications, terms delivery date,
etc. Approve purchase requisitions and vendors\' invoices. Guide and
direct planners in support of shop floor execution of OTD to our
customers. Drive actions resulting in \"right sized\" inventory,
including MRO/Tooling/ RM/ WIP and FG inventory management strategies.
