What We Need
We are looking for a Manager, Remarketing - Truck & Equipment to develop and maintain multiple sale channels for sale of Element and client owned assets Medium Duty through Heavy Duty, (Class 4-8), Tractors, Trailer, Forklifts and other Equipment by working with auctions and dealer direct purchasers to generate competitive market values for our customers. Are You:

Experienced with knowledge and work experience in upfitting assets as well as some experience with fleet operations or sales of medium and heavy trucks and equipment

Experienced with leading teams, possessing strong relationship management, organizational and negotiating skills
A Day in the Life

Ensure all vehicles are prepared for sale in accordance with Element policy including removal of all client logos, images & numbers, validate mechanical fitness and recommend / complete repairs that will enhance the net sale value

Conduct customer site visits to review assets and customer operations

Analyze customer vehicle specifications and provide guidance

Manage inventory age for all assets and implement solutions for assets requiring title solutions or other events that impact sales cycle time

Provide cross-functional, cross-business support and guidance relative to used asset valuations and forward looking forecasts

Analyze residual values for future performance and identify at risk assets

Develop and implement plans to optimize profits and minimize risk

Manage relationship with the network of suppliers who support the sales of Medium Duty through Heavy Duty, (Class 4-8), Tractors, Trailer, forklifts and Equipment5Consult with adjacent Element operational areas to identify process improvements that decrease sale cycle times and or improve sale values

Responsible for the training, development, implementation, and management of team and individual Goals & Objectives that are aligned with the BSC goals of the organization
Requirements

Bachelor's or technical degree in business, engineering or other industry-related discipline

10 years plus experience with truck & commercial equipment - chassis and upfitting

Comprehensive understanding of commercial truck remarketing industry, upfitting and truck regulations

Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and or customer service role

Familiarity with Element's computer applications

Truck industry - OEM, dealer (chassis or upfit) or leasing company experience a plus

{Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

Demonstrated ability to build and foster teamwork and relationships internally and externally

Proven ability to work with teams across multiple locations, some travel expected

Experience working with MS Office, data and reporting tools, demonstrated knowledge and growth in operating tools including mainframe and web based applications

Working knowledge of appropriate tools to manage budgets, revenue, expenses, metrics and other performance data
