SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Metrologist/CAD Specialist to primarily support customer-site 3D measurement, scanning, and CAD modeling work. Ability to support all dimensional inspection tasks within the Metrology Group preferred. In this position, the primary responsibilities will include 3-D data collection, analysis, and CAD modeling activities. You will use your current skill set to primarily conduct reverse engineering tasks utilizing industry-standard scan data post-processing tools, CAD softwares (CREO, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros, SpaceClaim) 3D scanners, laser trackers, and/or CMM arms to satisfy a variety of programs and deliverables for various customers. However, learning and mastering SURVICE's full suite of state-of-the-art 3-D metrology equipment, as well as CAD and other software packages, will be required to allow you to support the full range of industries and reverse engineering, modeling, and inspection services SURVICE Metrology provides its customers. To help you succeed in this regard, formal and informal, hands-on, and on-the-job training will be provided. But prior experience is preferred

Primary knowledge, skills, and abilities we are seeking:

• CAD Modeling - CREO, Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros, SpaceClaim, AuotCAD 3D, etc.
• Scan data processing and mesh editing - PolyWorks, Geomagic, MAGICS, ZBrush, etc.
• Dimensional Inspection - PolyWorks, Geomagic, Spatial Analyzer, Faro CAM2
• Metrology Equipment - FARO and other Portable CMM Arms, 3-D laser and structured light scanners, FARO and other laser trackers.

Minimum 3 years of experience. AS or BS degree in Engineering preferred.

Travel: 40%

Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain a DoD clearance. US citizenship required.
