the role: CLA is looking to hire a Controller with Nonprofit industry
experience for our Consulting and Outsourcing practice in Wisconsin, who
will sit in our Racine or Milwaukee office. As a part of our Consulting
and Outsourcing practice, you will help our clients transform their
business with a collaborative approach that allows them to seamlessly
mitigate risk, overcome challenges, meet deadlines, and identify
personnel to help them with their workforce needs. As a Controller, you
will: Perform Controller functions as part of the client\'s accounting
services team. Be accountable for identifying and implementing best
practices related to the services provided to add value to the client.
Develops internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures. Monitor
ratio and key performance indicators (KPI). Monitors and evaluates the
performance of accounting and other financial staff. Coordinates and
directs the financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment
activities. Advise management on short-term and long-term financial
objectives, policies, and actions. What you will need: Bachelor\'s
degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and
training may be accepted in lieu of degree. Six years of relevant
accounting and/or financial experience is required. CPA certification
preferred but not required. Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred. Prior
project management and client management experience preferred but not
