Position Title: Marketing Manager
Reports To: Marketing Director
Department: Product Marketing
Type: Hybrid with two days required in the Chestnut Hill, MA office and flexibility to come into the office on other days as-needed. Primarily this role will be remote 3 days and in-person 2 days.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution, development, measurement, and continuous improvement of multi-channel, direct response lead generation marketing campaigns for Sokolove Law across both digital and offline channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Management & Execution
-Collaborate with the Marketing Director to implement and manage direct response lead generation campaigns across multiple legal practice areas.
-Oversee D50 Media agency resources, internal teams, and contract partners to ensure timely and high-quality production of marketing materials.
-Manage the development of DRTV scripts, direct mail and email campaigns, digital and offline content, social media posts, and printed materials.
-Coordinate direct mail list pulls, production quotes, and collateral production, including occasional on-site press checks (local travel may be required).
-Ensure timely updates to perennial marketing materials, such as website disclaimers, terms and conditions, and attorney accolades.
Team & Vendor Management
-Directly manage one to two Assistant Product Managers and contracted partners, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and within the scope of the Statement of Work.
-Spearhead new vendor identification, vetting, and onboarding for marketing initiatives.
Collaboration & Communication
-Work closely with Service/Operations and call center teams to coordinate media plans, campaign updates, toll-free number reservations, and intake setup.
-Keep internal teams informed of key due dates, project dependencies, and campaign updates.
-Participate in marketing meetings and strategy discussions, contributing actionable insights and clear objectives to improve campaign performance.
-Take and distribute meeting notes, ensuring documentation accuracy.
Compliance & Administration
-Facilitate state legal filings to ensure compliance with bar association regulations.
-Process vendor invoice pre-approvals and expense documentation.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
-Prepare and review weekly marketing performance reports, analyzing data to assess campaign effectiveness.
-Identify key insights, connect data trends to campaign objectives, and provide recommendations for budget optimization and resource allocation.
-Monitor industry and competitive trends to inform strategy and media planning.
Presentations & Problem-Solving
-Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to develop presentations and proposals for senior leadership, including the CMO and CEO.
-Approach complex business challenges with a problem-solving mindset, digging into "why" questions to drive marketing improvements.
-Take initiative on ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelors degree with 3+ years experience in marketing.
-Minimum 1 year experience of managing vendors.
-Strong Microsoft Office knowledge & proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
-Solid written and verbal communication skills. Uses clear and concise verbal communication skills that are on point, persuasive, and audience appropriate.
-Analytical and assertive; able to command the room and contribute in meetings with internal teams and external clients, driving to decisions and commitments despite level, function, or personality of participants.
-Sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects while working collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
-Detail-oriented, self-motivated with ability to see ahead, anticipate future needs
-Ability to learn new tools and software; familiarity with IBM Cognos Report Studio, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Asana
