What We Need
We are looking for a Truck & Upfit Specialist who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

As the Truck and Upfit Specialist you will create chassis and upfit specifications for Class 1 through 5 vehicles by working with suppliers to generate price quotes for clients. Assist Clients, Prospects, internal customers, and sales team with all truck related application engineering and upfitting issues. Ensure all vehicles are configured in compliance with company policy and industry standards.
A Day in the Life

Create chassis and upfit specifications for Class 1 through 5 (Light Duty) vehicles by working with suppliers to generate price quotes and profiles for customers.

Assist customers/clients (prospects included) and Sales Team with all truck related chassis specification and upfitting issues including review of customer vehicle specifications and provide guidance for improvements

Provide cross-functional, cross-business support and guidance for Maintenance, Sales and Customer Service regarding upfit vehicles

Develop and maintain key relations with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Dealer, upfitter and other suppliers

Provide departmental leadership and expertise

Travel up to 10% required
Requirements

Bachelor's or technical degree in business, engineering or other industry-related discipline preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience with truck & commercial vehicle specing - chassis and upfitting

TMI Certification, ASE Certification, NTEA affiliation, SAE Member or other industry-related affiliations preferred

Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to work a hybrid work location schedule from either our Hopkins, MN or Sparks, MD office
