Apple is looking for a Display Electrical Architecture Engineer to join the Display team. Display Electrical Architect must be out-of-box problem solver and will define the next generation display electrical architecture. A successful candidate will define the future display roadmap, help design qualification and be responsible for high quality engineering specification, analysis, verification and validation along the way. This position requires deep technical strengths in mixed-signal circuit design, system level design, and display architecture knowledge.
Description
- Define the display EE architecture and electrical specification to meet performance requirement
- Lead proof-of-concept system design, characterization and bring up
- Author high quality engineering requirements and specification
- Take new technology from prototype to mass production
- Analyze root causes for various production issues related to design, and propose mitigation
- Participate in cross function design reviews and address integration concerns
- Define next generation display electrical roadmap
Minimum Qualifications
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience with at least one electrical engineering discipline: analog and mixed signal IC design, power electronics, system design, semiconductors, TFTs
- Experience with circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written documentation and verbal communication skill
- Proficient in converting performance requirement to electrical specs
- Experience with PCB design and IC packaging and layout, including analysis for SI/PI/crosstalk
- Experience in display technology, such as LCD, OLED, plasma, DLP, LCOS, e-paper, etc.
