Application Support Analyst<br>

<strong>BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Support Analyst for a Minneapolis, MN - Remote opportunity.</strong>

<ul>
<li>Bachelors degree in Ag Business, Accounting, or Business Management or equivalent</li>
<li>experience in Agriculture Industry.</li>
<li>Knowledge of agriculture business products (i.e. Seed, Fertilizer, Chemical, Fuels, etc.)</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while supporting a team atmosphere.</li>
<li>Ability to work extended hours and rotating weekends as needed to compile reports and solve problems requiring immediate assistance.</li></ul>

<strong>Job Description:</strong>

<br>
<ul>
<li>Answer and log requests for assistance into call tracking software; analyze, prioritize, and assign to appropriate support personnel.</li>
<li>Coordinate and work with Special Projects group on a variety of ongoing and new projects as needed.</li>
<li>Work with agronomy, accounting, software, and hardware staff.</li>
<li>Recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.</li>
<li>Provide on-going first level system support to outlying users, assisting with problems / issues users are unable to resolve locally, primarily by telephone or other electronic communication.</li>
<li>Identify and correct problems through simulations or recreations.</li>
<li>Work with business retail locations and IT staff in coordinating the information flow between outlying sites and the corporate office to accomplish the required reporting and consolidation responsibilities and needs of the business division.</li>
<li>Document standard operating procedures and processes of the special projects, accounting and information systems used by field and corporate staff.</li>
<li>Provide other general systems support.</li>
<li>Be comfortable with file layouts and imports.</li>
<li>Assist other areas as needed.<br>
<br>Preferred Skills:<br></li>
<li>Agris software systems experience</li>
<li>Working knowledge of federal and state regulations for Ag Businesses (i.e. CFTC, FIFRA, Container Tracking, Restricted Use reporting, etc.)</li>
<li>Understanding of IT systems</li></ul>
