Job Profile Summary
Responsible for business line financial analysis and financial support leadership. Develop annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, reporting and analytics of profit & loss, working capital, investments, ROI's and other key business performance indicators, metrics and initiatives and partner with business line management to drive improved financial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation, distribution and communication of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) performance reporting against forecast, prior year, and budget.
Partner with business unit management to develop product line P&L budgets and forecasts.
Lead efforts to understand root causes of gaps against targets and drive efforts to close gaps.
Design and prepare routine and ad hoc analysis and reports of operating and financial results; communicate findings / results to business line management.
Understand the correlation of operating metrics, market share position and pricing policies to financial performance and business strategies.
Understand and drive improved profitability across product lines.
Leverage information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness of forecasting and analysis.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Proficiency with Excel, Oracle, Hyperion or similar reporting and analytical tools.
Ability to organize, interpret and draw appropriate conclusion from large volumes of data and to creatively present the information in a manner that enables non-financial managers to easily understand the information.
Effective communication skills; ability to influence and contribute to financial discussions and decisions.
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Ability to work in a matrix organization.
Self-motivated, able to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to supervise or manage lower level staff.
Ability to interact with internal/external clients/customers in a professional manner
Experience
5-7 year experience
BA in Finance
