GRAPHIC DESIGNER

 Innova Solutions is hiring a Graphic Designer to serve a leading national healthcare provider in Rochester, MN. ?The Designer will design, direct, coordinate and produce visual materials for a Clinic Foundation and affiliates in a variety of mediums including: books, magazines, brochures, physical displays, posters and electronic mediums including web design, electronic presentations, and multimedia products. This position is an integral team member who, in addition to their normal production activities, provides art direction, proof checks, outsourcing management, image manipulation, job bidding, and direct customer consultation. The Designer will receive direction from the Division Chair, Section Head, and Unit Head/Art Director. You may also receive technical direction from the project manager or a more senior staff as assigned. You will perform consulting tasks and act as an information resource in a supportive role. Position type: 20 hrs/week, W2 hourly wage with Innova Solutions Duration: One year and ongoing Location: Rochester, MN. Largely onsite, with some flexibility for at-home to complete any remaining hours. Pay Range: $35-38/hr - W2 Only REQUIREMENTS: <ul> <li>Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of typography, type design, form and color theory, proportion and balance, photographic and computer imaging techniques, electronic layout skills, exhibit/display knowledge and experience with Unit specific software programs (see Unit specific competencies). <li>Candidates must be flexible, resourceful, and possess strong project management and interpersonal skills while effectively meeting deadlines under pressure. <li>Candidates must also be able to work independently, give and receive clear and concise direction, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. <li>Healthcare experience is a plus. </ul> EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE <ul> <li>Requires a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Design Technology or related field from an accredited university, college or school of design. <li>Two-year minimum employment experience required.
