Position Summary
The Safety Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration,
coordination and evaluation of the safety and health function for all HMA
(Asphalt) and Paving operations. This position will report to the Director
of Safety.
In addition, the position is responsible for assisting with the training of
current employees with Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel Safety Culture as
established. Conduct facility safety audits primarily for OSHA sites. Review
& communicate injury & liability loss trends and causal analysis to their
assigned operations groups.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and
standards set by relevant authorities. This includes OSHA regulations.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety hazards in asphalt and paving

assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
Training and Education: Provide safety training to construction workers and
