Title: Technical Project Manager / SCRUM Master
Location: On-Site in Arlington, VA
Citizenship/Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance required. This position supports a government contract.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager with SCRUM Master experience who has lead efforts supporting the DOD. As a PM and SCRUM Master on this DOD program, you will harness your skills and contributions to the team collaborating with technical SMEs, developers and other team members to successfully release data driven software for the customer.

Job Responsibilities:

- Helps coordinating activities around the Agile/SCRUM methodology, recommending and implementing tools, process, and roles for the team.
- Informs strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the Agile process.
- Helps clients overcome their most difficult challenges and continuously broadening expertise in areas like Agile methodologies for proven and efficient Sprint iteration development and coordinating those efforts with the customer in an understanding manner.
- Fosters their role as the SCRUM Master by running daily stand-up meetings and maintain current velocity and opportunities to performance improvements.
- Work with various levels of team members both internally and externally on Product List prioritization, managing the Backlog, and reassessing pace and Sprint packaging for releases.
- Works with other SMEs and contributes to the development of more junior team members with supervision and motoring capabilities.
- Engage with customers onsite 4 days to start, from client offices, and remotely when possible (SCIF work will require on-site visits).

Job Requirements:

- BS or post graduate training in CS or other engineering/technical discipline.
- Project Management experience or credentials in technical program training.
- 10+ years of successful IT Solutions implementation and delivering classified solutions for Federal or DoD government customers.
- Knowledge of SCIF operations and processes, best practices, and handling classified material.
- 7+ years of experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology is some role of coordination and leadership.
- Experience with tools using in implementing Agile/SCRUM methodologies, like JIRA or other similar systems.
- Experience with the role of SCRUM Master and conducting any sort of daily SM duties for sprints scheduled releases.
- Experience with helping to flesh out requirements and conduct systems analysis task and how to properly align them with Product List, Backlogs, and Sprint activities.
- Ability to be independent, creative and challenged and work with other knowledgeable and like-minded SMEs.
- Possess a curious mind, passionate about solving problems efficiently and bringing innovative ideas to the table.
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance Required to Start

Desired Qualifications:

- Any Agile/SCRUM Methodology Certifications
- Experience coordinating or managing IT projects with data analytics, big data, and cloud-native technologies or working requirements in these types of environments.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Advana COTS
- Experience with KABAN Agile practices and tools as well as other Project Management processes or tools.
- Experience in SCRUM Planning, Scheduling, and Backlog Grooming, beyond just Sprint coordination, assisting the customers with longer-term roadmaps.
- Understand of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and participating in the role of requirements or business analyst as well as SCRUM Master.
- Knowledge of Information Assurance compliance to specified standards NIST Standards for Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- MA or MS degree + 10 years’ experience
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
- Any AWS Cloud certifications or knowledge
