This Strategic Revenue Management Finance / Analytics role is for someone who is curious and energized by complex challenges, has strong analytics skills and mindset, and believes in the power of data to transform the performance of brands and businesses. You will be hands on, action oriented, and accountable as we build out a best-in-class global Revenue Management capability that helps drives the performance of General Mills now and into the future.
KEY ACCONTABILITIES
Lead the impact measurement for SRM Data and Analytics initiatives for General Mills Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team.
Leverage sound financial understanding, data analysis skills, statistical analytics rigor, and commercial understanding to:
Measure impact of individual revenue management capabilities in a noisy data environment
Consult on revenue management / measurement capability building to maximize P&L impact.
Perform ad hoc analytics leveraging numerous large data sources to support key business questions.
Build revenue management / measurement capability prototypes for subsequent industrialization.
Influence, educate, and train cross functional business partners to adopt new processes - understand needs and develop solutions that overcome barriers to business impact
Statistical measurement / forecasting / econometrics experience and knowledge - ability to use both basic and advanced analytic tools to measure both small scale / experimental changes in sales and large-scale shifts, while controlling for impact of other in market actions and variables.
Natural curiosity, comfort with quantitative problem solving, and ability to clearly communicate complex results.
Strong storytelling ability - confident / expert at taking complex ideas and analyses and distilling them into impactful written and verbal communications that drive to action.
Ability to pick up new systems, data, tools - and rapidly apply them to deliver actionable insights.
Work in white space - build new analytic process and tools, prove or improve their validity and embed them in business processes.
Strong analytical understanding of statistical and predictive modelling methods, clustering, regression, time series, discrimination and/or classification techniques.
Experience using syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) & price models.
Ability to consider multiple approaches for different business models / market conditions / data quality and to design analytics to answer targeted questions.
Ability to take objective data-informed perspective to lead change through analytical rigor. Familiarity processing large amounts of data for actionable insights using advanced analytical techniques.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field and/or finance. Advanced degree preferred,
Masters / PhD in data science, statistics, econometrics, or another related field a strong plus.
3-5+ years' experience in Finance, Revenue Management, or advanced sales / marketing analytics, or econometrics, preferably in consumer package goods and / or retail.

International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered
Salary Range


The salary range for this position is $104700.00 - $157200.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
