Sustainability Communications Strategist and Administrative Coordinator

St. Edward's University is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Communications Strategist and Administrative Coordinator to become a professional member of the President's Office. The incumbent provides marketing and administrative support for the Chief of Staff, Liaison to the Board of Trustees and Sustainability Coordinator in support of all activities of the President's Office/Sustainability Office. The duties of this fast-paced, high-energy position involve a substantial amount of cooperative work involving confidential matter.

For consideration, a College degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Some graduate coursework preferred. Previous administrative experience required. Must be competent with Microsoft Office programs (55 wpm accurately), fluency in Adobe suite preferred. Must be well organized, able to set priorities, able to support multiple projects at once. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must beknowledgeable of business principles. Must have good problem-solving skills. Must be able to deal with matters in an especially tactful and highly confidential manner. Ability to follow workplace guidelines and attendance requirements. Must be capable of working effectively with other personnel in the President's Office and other university offices. Must possess an unencumbered driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
