Job Description

DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE, PRINCIPAL GIFTS, Sloan School of Management, to work alongside members of the Principal Gifts team and colleagues across MIT to advance principal gifts and build and enhance effective communications and strategic planning for projects in principal gifts. Will act as a strategy and thought partner; perform writing and editing and data analysis; provide trip and visit guidance; and handle prospect cultivation and special projects.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; two years’ experience working in a fund  raising or related organization; excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail; proven ability to initiate, edit, write, and analyze; self-motivation; openness to change; and computer proficiency.  Job #23221-6

Salary range:  $54,820 - 72,175 - 89,530, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.
