Brief Position Overview | Under the supervision of the Parking Manager, the Parking Supervisor manages a team of Parking Enforcement Officers to ensure a safe parking experience on campus, deter parking violations, provide motorist assistance, and additional services to the MSU campus and its visitors during special event operations. The MSU Parking Supervisor duties include scheduling athletic and special event staffing, developing operational plans for athletic and special events, monitoring enforcement personnel as they patrol University parking lots, incorporating new technologies into MSU Parking Services, and monitoring parking lot conditions to ensure a safe parking experience on campus. This includes monitoring snow removal efforts in the parking lots and all other hazards that are identified. Parking Supervisor will also oversee training of new parking enforcement officers and student workers. Parking Supervisor is expected to provide supplemental non-injury motor vehicle accident investigation, including properly photographing and documenting the incident within the records management system. |
