Position Summary:

Employees in this position perform routine tasks in support of assembling chemical dilution and dispensing equipment. An Assembler- Level 3 (Trainer) is responsible for training new employees assigned within their areas and should assist the Production Leads with executing the daily run of the work centers/supermarkets.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

* Reads and comprehends Bill of Materials (BoM) to gather parts, equipment, and tools.

* Uses hand and air tools to build assemblies/sub-assemblies of moderate complexity and completes other tasks using manual dexterity.

* Works from well-established guidance from visual aids (i.e., work instructions) and reports discrepancies between work instructions and standard build processes to Quality.

* Completes assigned product assemblies to acceptable quality specifications.

* Performs all tasks in accordance with Company safety and 5S standards.

* Assists with operational logistics including basic planning, inventory control, and packing.

* Meets and maintains established production rates.

* Acts as a coach/mentor to new hires assigned to areas trained in.

* Conducts tool training for all areas trained in.

* Is a safety and continuous improvement champion- advocates for other team members and assists in implementing CI ideas.

* Performs quality checks by inspecting and auditing all products to ensure they meet customer requirements; is a certified to check off BoM's for areas trained in.

* Acts as a backup Production Lead in providing tier 1 and 2 meeting coverage as well as posting and explaining Production SQDIP metrics.

* Reports any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to Production Leadership.

* May work in supermarkets- pulling manufacturing orders for work centers according to their scheduling.

* Other tasks as assigned by management.

Must be an active listener and be able to provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ability to work as a team and rotate to other work centers
Has basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiple, divide).
Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to learn Oracle and other software as needed.
Must be able to work overtime, when required.

Education/Experience:

* Must be able to become trained in a minimum of two value streams (including all rotations in a work center/supermarket).

* Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal status to work in the United States.

* Must possess High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat and move for entire shift with breaks

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. to waist and/or shoulder height, with or without assistance.

* Repetitive lifting over shoulder height - maximum of 3 lbs.

* Bending and reaching using arms/legs as needed to get parts and assemble product.

* Grasping and manipulation using both hands.

Core Schedules:

* Days: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, M-F

* Nights: 9:00 PM-5:30 AM, Sun-Th
