The Opportunity with McKinstry

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team at the forefront of financial excellence? We're seeking an Accounts Payable Manager extraordinaire to oversee our centralized company Disbursements, Corporate Card programs, and 1099 reporting. With your expertise, we'll ensure unwavering financial integrity and operational efficiency across the organization.

Essential job functions:

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize vendor spend and enhance working capital.
  • Set and monitor Virtual Card spend targets and KPIs for rebate programs.
  • Manage cash flow projections and payment optimization methods.
  • Negotiate payment terms with vendors for cost efficiency and relationship maintenance.
  • Analyze data to forecast cash flow and address liquidity challenges.
  • Lead payment optimization initiatives to improve working capital efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement for streamlined payment processes.
  • Oversee employee reimbursements and Corporate P-card management.
  • Utilize data analytics for spending insights and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Manage vendor information and 1099 reporting.
  • Lead and mentor the AP disbursements team, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
  • Maintain departmental processes and operational procedures.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP systems and 3rd party solutions like Concur.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 7 years of accounting experience, with 3-5 years in AP people management.

The pay range for this position is $72,090 - $119,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
