Required Skills:
* Associates degree in in related field and three years relevant experience or H.S. Diploma/GED and five years relevant experience.
* In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or boilers preferred.
* Must have good communication skills,
* Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
* Ability to work in heights and dusty environment
* Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a boiler’s license.

Job Description:
Summary: Performs maintenance at New Vision plants and facilities including installation, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and physical structures. Establishes repair priority and schedule, assists with parts and tool inventory and managing costs, and maintains a clean and organized work area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Perform all repairs and maintenance according to OSHA and New Vision safety standards.
* Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
* Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with operators or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
* Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
* Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
* Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
* Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains related hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
* Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
* Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
* Fabricates and repairs other wooden structures.
* Establishes and communicates repair priority and schedule.
* Assists Operations Manager with the procurement and inventory of parts and tools and managing maintenance shop operating costs.
