The newly constituted Commercial Bank, now inclusive of Payments, is the heart of KeyBank's business segment and is targeted for rapid growth. Comprised of commercial client relationship teams, commercial risk, onboarding and servicing, Institutional Bank payments business development and payments products and solutions (treasury management, commercial card, merchant services, and foreign exchange), the Commercial Bank caters to a wide breadth of industry verticals and client segments. The Sr. Core Treasury Product Manager will support the Lockbox, Billpay Consolidation, and Paper Disbursement product offerings managed by the Check and Cash Product Team. We are seeking a highly analytical individual who is able to present and lead data driven strategies in order to execute your product roadmap. This role requires the individual to influence both internal and external stakeholders, provide business development support, lead strategic projects, and have ownership of the P&L. Key is focused on sound profitable growth requiring knowledge of risk mitigation processes inherent within our product set and being mindful of macro environment drivers that may impact our go to market strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Create and execute your product roadmap by presenting compelling, data driven business cases which result in platform investment or enhancement.
Remain knowledgeable and forward-thinking relative to your product positioning in the macro environment.
P&L management, forecast creation, and margin analysis
Provide project management from ideation to launch of new offerings or enhancements
Drive profitable growth by facilitating business development activities including RFP writing, client pitches, and correlated pricing activity.
Maintain a sound risk posture by monitoring external and internal threats to the business and instilling proper mitigation plans and processes.
Vendor management across multiple external relationships
Deliver training internally and externally to convey an understanding of the products, their usage and functionality.
Develop and maintain product collateral as well as market communications which drive awareness of our product portfolio and performance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5 to 10 years of experience in financial services or treasury management.
Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.
Entrepreneurial Mindset. Ability to identify business opportunities, develop a strategic plan to capitalize on those opportunities, and tactically implement the plan.
Direct product P/L responsibility.
Understanding of Commercial Banking Core Treasury products and segment needs through demonstrated portfolio management experience.
Demonstrated communication. Must be able to create and conduct executive level presentations, present at industry venues, and interface with the media and clients as appropriate.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to forecast. Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills.
A team player with proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners including finance, technology, operations, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and other internal and external partners including vendors.
An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data query and reporting knowledge.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Core Treasury product management or support role (Core: Lockbox, ACH, Wire, etc)
NCP or CTP accreditation
Previous success in implementing new features or functionality and taking those to market
Experience writing and negotiating vendor contracts
Proven ability to effectively work in a matrixed organization, displaying a strong understanding of the interconnected nature of treasury management.
A team player with proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal partners including finance, technology, operations, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and other internal and external partners
An ability to champion change, influence others, and foster teamwork.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
