Senior Embedded Software Verification Engineer - Minneapolis, MN

Position Summary:
We are recruiting for a Senior Embedded Software Verification Engineer to join our rapidly growing Product Development team located in the Minneapolis, MN location. In this role, you will be for responsible for the requirements analysis, test design, execution, and verification of embedded software.
Responsibilities:
Work cross functionally to identify and define system and software requirements
Analyze System and Software requirements to determine testability, completeness and consistency.
Perform ripple effect analysis for requirements and design level changes using technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques as they relate to software testing.
Develop test protocols by performing in-depth requirements analysis.
Assess the need to automate tests and develop either automated or manual test scripts.
Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements.
Execute automated and manual test protocols following established procedures and capturing appropriate objective evidence.
Report and investigate observations and defects, working with other members of the development team to establish root cause and options for correction.
Provide and manage traceability evidence between requirements, tests and risk documentation.
Write formal test plans and reports that can be used in submission packages to regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience
7+ years of similar experience, including software testing and verification experience and/or software development experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline
Class III medical device experience
Previous experience developing and/or testing embedded software architectures
Additional development experience utilizing .NET, C#, and/or C++
