Your Role and Responsibilities
In IBM Japan’s software proposals, he/she is responsible for combining offerings and proposal conditions for the strategic use of multiple products over the medium to long term, and collaborating with the product lead department to implement high value-added proposals and sales.
In addition, the position will be responsible for discussions and negotiations with IBM’s U.S. headquarters to devise and adjust the terms and conditions of proposals.
The target industries and customer segments are all IBM Japan customers, and the sales activities will be conducted directly to customers and in collaboration with business partners and related divisions within IBM.
The responsibilities of this position include
Assembling strategic proposals for software products
Lead the discussion, coordination, and negotiation of proposal terms and conditions.
Collaborate with customers and business partners
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skill
Basic knowledge of software (product system, license concept and contract system, billing system)
Experience
Direct or indirect sales experience (including telesales)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Intermediate level of English reading comprehension and written expression
Experience in sales in collaboration with business partners
Intermediate or higher skills in using CRM tools such as EXCEL and SalesForce
Business experience with IBM software (even as a user)
