deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a part-time afternoon receptionist in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:The part-time, afternoon receptionist will be responsible for the following:

• Phone - direct calls, messages, and attend to voicemail.
• Greeting all guest and employees as they enter and exit.
• Maintain Security - ensure all visitors are signed in and badged.
• Notify - ensure personnel are notified of visitor arrival.
• Direct - inform visitors by answering or referring inquires, assist them with their availabilities while visiting deciBel.
• Workspace - keep reception area clean and uncluttered while also complying with rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintenance Request - Enter work order for all incoming request from employees.
• Reserve Conference Rooms at the request of employees.
• Mail - Maintain & track incoming & outgoing mail, notify employees via email as needed, package outgoing, update purchase log if required with delivery.
• Inventory - Conduct inventory count, restock deli and resource supplies.
• Notify our leadership of all expected incoming visitors for the following business day.
• Common Space shut down procedure.
• Additional tasks may be assigned by leadership as needed.

Education Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates Degree a plus.

Experience Requirements:The successful candidate should have at least one year of reception or other comparable administrative experience.
