Position Summary

SPM is the market leader in sterile processing information systems or workflow solutions software. You have an opportunity to join the team of Training Specialists that provides Customer education and staff training on this premier software system. In this role you will conduct SPM product training for new staff, teach staff and Customers how to use new features in the software, and conduct webinars and other Customer education events to help our Customers fully utilize their software. We also create and share educational resources with our Customers including videos, eLearnings, articles, and more. This is a remote role local to the Cleveland, OH area. You will be required to come onsite at the Operational Headquarters in Mentor, OH as needed.

Duties

Assist with Customer training (30%)


Help to plan, develop, and coordinate webinars offered on a regular basis throughout the year
Host/answer questions for webinars when not presenting them
Communicate with Customers and internal staff regarding educational offerings
Assist with, organize, and/or present hands-on remote Customer trainings
Assist with planning and presenting of other education offerings (including CEP, eLearnings, etc.)
Develop eLearning scripts and eLearning modules as needed
Develop video scripts and videos as needed
Assist with creating quizzes for eLearnings, videos, webinars, and other CE content
Assist Sales team as needed with demo/content creation
Assist with demo database upkeep as needed

Assist with internal staff training (30%)


Assist in the development of new employee training programs
Help deliver new employee training sessions and assist with coordination if needed
Assist with training of all employees on new features, additional products and services available to our Customers, and other topics as needed
Assist the Dev team with testing as needed

Review and create documentation (25%)


Create documentation for internal training
Create step-by-step instructions for internal and Customer-facing purposes
Create setup and upgrade documentation
Help convert documentation from Word and PDF format to PLM managed documentation
Help upload documentation on the SPM Customer Resource Center
Develop eLearning/video outlines
Help to update style guides for documentation (step-by-step instructions, setup, and upgrade documents), eLearnings, and videos as needed
Review documentation and handouts as assigned

Customer Presentations (15%)


Deliver engaging presentations in person at the Customer Solution Center and online

Required Experience


High school diploma/ GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Teaching experience or experience in corporate training
Strong online and in-person presentation skills
Attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and pleasant phone manner
Experience with technical writing preferred
Excellent computer skills and aptitude for learning new software
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must be able to access high-speed internet

Pay range for this opportunity is$51,120.00-$67,095.00. This position is eligible for [BONUS PARTICIPATION]OR a [INSERT COMMISSION RATE RANGE, IF APPLICABLE] commission.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
