Office Coordinator
Provides excellent customer service performing clerical tasks related to assisting providers and patients within the medical office.
Greets patients in a professional courteous manner at all times.
Updates patient information including demographics, insurance updates and making necessary changes.
Performs all front-office duties including, but not limited to: Check-in and check-out of patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and collecting co-payments at time of check-in.
Accurately records all patients seen at the time of service, cancelling or no-showing appointments within the schedule each day to ensure accuracy in patient/provider schedule.
Enters daily cash received and running daily end of day sheet to go to business office for cash deposits ensuring accuracy of cash for the day.
Confirms upcoming appointments with correct date, time and location of appointment. Notifies patient of payment obligation.
Routes incoming mail to appropriate departments and personnel daily.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience
A minimum of one-year similar experience in a medical administrative role preferred
