Barnes Motion Control Solutions SBU has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our Brecksville, OH location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role involves effective communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Core Responsibilities:


Respond to electronic requests for customer and field personnel (phone, email)
Process orders and closing opportunities in the ERP and CRM systems.
Follow Up on Quotes/Drive Sales, supporting digital marketing efforts, by communicating with customers/potential customers digitally.
Answer incoming calls regarding customer quotes/orders, product problems, service questions and general customer concerns.
Process returns and / or issue credits. Handle special customer requirements.
Process PO requests/Invoices via specific portals, EDI
Enter customer complaints/positive feedback into the customer feedback log. Process any follow up, as necessary.
Distribute incoming and process outgoing mail.
Maintain files for customers, orders, returns, and electronic invoices.
Process Accounts Receivables, as directed.
Identify, implement, and sustain process improvements.
Other related duties and projects as assigned.
Acts in alignment with the Barnes Code of Business Ethics and Conduct

Qualifications:


2 years' experience in customer service
Able to interact with customers, field sales, internal and distribution personnel.
Experience with ERP systems.
EDI, Customer specific portals (i.e. Ariba)
Familiar with customer order entry process in a manufacturing environment.
Able to work within a teamwork environment.
Able to work independently on assigned tasks, with minimal direct supervision.
Able to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.
Good Mathematical/Quantitative and analytical skills
Detail oriented.
Results oriented and goal driven, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Education Requirements:


High School diploma or equivalent
Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred
