Job Description Must have PA Mine Certification or a minimum of one year of underground experience to take the PA Mine Certification test. Must have worked in an underground mine operation within the past three years. Must provide certification during the interview. Applicants with less than one year of underground time should not apply to this position. Job requirements: Must have HS Diploma or GED. Must have Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Able to work weekly rotating shifts (MAD). Able to work overtime as necessary. Ability to communicate with management and co-workers. Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen including hair follicle test, and functional work screening. Qualifications Essential Functions: Ability to work in an underground mining environment. Ability to come to work and maintain good attendance. Ability to lift to 100 pounds. Build cribs. Set posts. Build bridges. Supply miner and bolter. Assist with belt moves. Assist with load center moves. Extend waterlines. Unload supplies. Clean spillage of coal. Other general laborer duties as necessary. Pay is $31.35 to $32.42 per hour |
