We are the North American division of world-renown Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), an industry leader in laboratory instruments and accessories for analytical testing/research.We are looking for an experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Minneapolis, MN area. This position will provide field service coverage to the mountain/mid-west region, with a primarily focus on MN, ND, IA, SD, and WI.

As a successful Metrohm Field Service Specialist you will apply your instrument /chemistry knowledge and technical experience to solve customer's instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.
On-site service may include simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training and more.
You will get to travel to a diverse group of labs, meet different people and see various instrument applications at work. You will have the resources to support the client face to face, via phone, email and Teams or TeamViewer. The ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory is essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with local Sales colleagues and customer support, ensure sure-fire success in this role. Significant field travel will be required.
Ideal Experience and Education:

BS/BA in Chemistry (or closely related degree) and 4 years of hands-on repair experience with scientific equipment. Experience traveling for business in the past is a plus.
Additional requirements:

Valid driver's license, stable credit history and successful drug screening. Regional travel requirement will be assigned by manager.
