Job Description: |
Thorne Crest Senior Living is looking for a Registered Dietician to join our team as our Director of Dining Services! As our Registered Dietician Dining Director, you'll oversee our dietary department and food safety, while also managing our dining team comprised of an Executive Chef, cooks, servers and hosts. In addition, you will perform regular clinical assessments, adopt patient-centered care planning, attend care conferences, and ensure menus meeting dietary requirements and physician orders for all residents. Lastly, you will work in close partnership with our nursing team wo monitor weight and wounds of residents.
You'll maintain quality metrics throughout the dietary department and provide the appropriate training to the culinary team as needed. Thorne Crest promotes and thrives on their inclusive positive, team focused environment!

What You Need: Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association License or certification per state requirements Prior management experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar environment, preferred Experience in long-term care environment and certified in gerontological nutrition services preferred
