Job Description

 
1 full-time, seasonal, H-2A jobs available 2/21/2023- 12/15/2023. Designated workers may be responsible for acting as a liaison between the crew and the supervisor to communicate progress of production tasks and communicate progress at the conclusion of each workday. Worker is responsible for organizing high-quality and on-time receiving, labeling and quality control on shipments that are coming in and going out of the nursery and reports information back to his supervisor. Shipments include trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, bulbs, and annuals, all produced/cultivated on site by the employer. Worker will manage the day-to-day entry and load list generation for nursery shipments; coordinate all shipments to customers, relaying order information to Inventory managers, coordinating logistics and posting process orders after shipment. Worker will be responsible for inventory and inventory database management (ready dates, product availability and pictures). All work is performed on the farm. Workdays may vary. Additional hours may be available but not guaranteed. Not all workers are requested to drive; drivers will be required to possess a valid driver's license. No one will be rejected for the position that does not possess a driver's license. Requirements: * One month of experience. * Lifting requirement of 25lbs. * Post-hire drug testing at employer expense. * Exposure to extreme temperatures. * Extensive pushing/pulling, frequent stooping/bending. * Repetitive movements.
