Non-profit, Tier II Child development center seeks an assistant teacher. Must have a high school diploma, 1 year relative work experience and possess a WV Training Certification/ACDS. Knowledge and ability to meet State child care licensing standards. Must meet health requirements established by State licensing standards and pass a criminal background check. The Assistant Teacher, under the direction of the Lead Teacher. The assistant teacher will direct activities in a childcare room and assist in developing learning programs and activities appropriate for the social needs of each child, considering the particular strengths and weaknesses that each child may possess.
