Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for an Associate Procurement Analyst. The role will be based in Cleveland, Ohio or East Chicago, Indiana. The primary function of this position is to support the team with a variety of reporting and perform various system reporting, administrative reporting and other tasks for the Purchasing business systems (Aptean Tabware & Axiom, Oracle EBS, Ellipse). Our Purchasing Business Processes & Support Services team supports all Cleveland-Cliffs facilities and primary systems.

The position is one that will interact with various departments within our organization. The position will be responsible for reporting/report generation and summarization, data mining and other analytical support. The ideal candidate will have experience in data reporting, specializing in Power BI and Excel.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Support the Business System and Support Services team for various routine and ad hoc data reporting requests and requirements to continue to improve our competitiveness and cost control
Prepare reporting from business systems (Ellipse / Oracle EBS / TabWare) and various application tools such as OnBase
Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports for various audiences such as requisitioner community, Buyers, Plant Leadership and Senior Leadership.
Will interact and collaborate with multiple facilities, departments, internal and less frequently external stakeholders to develop reporting where new requirements are identified
Focus on continuous improvement within the job function and entire department
Perform other job duties and participate in projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

BS or BA in Business with successful completion of courses in Power BI, data analysis, data management or data mining
Advanced Power BI skills, including graphing and dashboard development and aesthetics
Ability to design/develop reports and visuals that will assist in gaining insights to improve decision making
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects along with recurring responsibilities
Verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to establish and cultivate relationships with key partners

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics
Exceptional analytical skills to support business system management with demonstrated strength in data and trend analysis
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (advanced features), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint
