Job Description
This is a summer internship position. Candidate should expect to work approximately 37.5 hours per week with a hybrid work schedule.
SUMMARY
This position will contribute to the day-to-day activities and special projects on the Treasury & Risk Management Team. The purpose of the Internship Program is to provide professional development/experience to individuals within their field of study by exposure to the business environment of a large corporation.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Treasury Management System Support
Static data maintenance
Review and reporting of daily bank statements, accounting, and cash position
Reporting
Store Banking
Assist with various projects related to the domestic store's banking activity to help streamline stores deposits and reduce bank fees
Help with the opening of new accounts for the stores banking including speaking with store employees, addressing issues with banking, and facilitation communications back to our banking partners.
Analyze stores bank fees and help determine opportunities to reduce costs.
Risk Management
Assist with various Risk Management projects related to store leases and the risk engineering for the property insurance program.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
Highschool Diploma and currently pursuing, at a minimum, working towards a bachelor's degree in a finance related field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required:
Previous work or related coursework in Finance
Preferred:
Ability to interface with top management.
Knowledge of capital markets, corporate banking and cash management products and services, and foreign exchange markets.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally in writing.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
