Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.
Providence is calling a Supply Chain Analyst who will:
Support the CSC scope of operations in managing system-wide contract related information, compliance, and financial analysis
Support data analytics for daily, monthly, and annual operating metrics and dashboards
Support negotiations and monitor compliance for system-wide contracts
Analyze contract utilization and proposal data, and formulate recommendations
Analyze and comprehend large amounts of data
Create basic to complex reports, charts, and graphs from various sources of information
Facilitate discussions with leaders
Leverage data mining tools and techniques to create and manage databases of data
Build reporting tools, including regularlee scheduled KPIs
Build and monitor a database of auto-generating reports
Use data analytics to decipher data trends and variances
Create summary reports to leadership
We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live within a daily commutable distance (up to 50 miles) of the office location listed below:
Washington: Renton, Seattle
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration. Concentration of study in Data and Business Analysis -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
2+ years' experience with analytics and reporting or related work experience in a materials management, operations or group purchasing environment
2+ years' experience demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills, or the equivalent
2+ years' experience planning efficient and accurate procedures, schedules, and systems to accomplish information and data base information management functions in support of the activities and programs of the department
A track record in quickly acquiring a good understanding of the organization, its business imperatives and reporting needs
A track record in organizing and planning with a proven ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and achieve results in a fast paced environment with competing business priorities
Demonstrated customer focus with a track record in building and maintaining regular communication and feedback channels
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
