Required Skills:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years related experience
• Class B CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment; candidate must be 21+ as this job requires interstate travel

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 2 year technical college or ASE certifications
• 3-5 years related experience
• Cummins certificate and / or experience with Ford Motor Company engines

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to be on your feet to 7 to 8 hours per day
• Standing, crouching and kneeling for extending periods of time
• Work in awkward or cramped positions and much of the work can be physically challenging
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with proper lifting tools and techniques
• Ability to work in adverse / extreme conditions such as: dusty environment, excessive climate conditions

Position Description:
As the Field Service Technician, you are responsible for traveling to our customers to perform repair and warranty work. The ideal candidate is an independent worker, has extensive knowledge of buses, and knows how to provide superior customer service. If you fit this description, Apply Today!

Essential Functions
• Perform diagnostics and repairs of the following:
o Engine performance issues
o Air & hydraulic brake systems
o Automatic transmissions
o Suspension systems
o Steering systems
o Commercial wheelchair lifts
o Bus HVAC systems
o Exhaust & diesel aftertreatment systems.
o Fuel systems
o Body components i.e. emergency lighting, glass & mirror systems
• Able to provide great customer service
• Completes service repair paperwork in a timely manner
• Ability to travel to customers based on a pre-set schedule and may include some overnight travel
• Ability to work flexible schedule depending on customer’s needs, including working early morning and evening hours
• Maintains company vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
• Able to work overtime during peak season
