Under the direction of and reporting to the Environmental, Health, and
Safety Manager, the Training Specialist will assess training needs,
develop, coordinate, and administer training and development programs to
maximize the human resource potential of our Manufacturing and Office
teams. Training will focus on manufacturing new hires, EHS trainings,
standard work procedures, compliance trainings, and professional growth
topics Responsibilities: Conduct training needs assessments to identify
training gaps and determine specific learning requirements across
different departments or employee levels Facilitate various trainings
for both production and professional employees across a variety of
subject matter areas Conduct functional job skills training to
production new hires and other groups as assigned Facilitate training
sessions using various methods like classroom instruction, e-learning
platforms, simulations, hands-on demonstrations, or workshops Assist
supervisors in the development of standard work procedures to streamline
processes and ensure consistent and safe work completion Analyze the
knowledge and skills required to meet job expectations, make
recommendations on training solutions to close performance gaps, and
monitor development Organize and develop training programs utilizing a
variety of computer-based programs or other media, including course
outlines, learning objectives, and instructional materials (e.g.,
manuals, presentations, online modules) Prepare, schedule, and conduct
hands-on training, webinar-based training, and classroom presentations
according to industry and company standards Develop, maintain, and
adhere to the Corporate Training Calendar Train participants on various
subject matter areas, including EHS, operations, HR, professional
development, etc Counsel individual managers and employees by
identifying learning requirements, designing individual training or
development programs, and coaching to improve performance Measure the
effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments,
surveys, and performance monitoring to identify areas for improvement
Work closely with managers, subject matter experts, and HR to align
training initiatives with organizational goals Research and implement
