Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in St. Henry.
$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$
(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination).
SHIFT HOURS: (2nd shift) Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
(3rd shift) Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am and every other Saturday 6:00am-12:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $25.00 - $28.00 with a potential increase after 90 days.
All training will be provided. Job functions include:
- Performing preventative maintenance functions on all equipment as assigned.
- Recording any and all parts removed from parts inventory. Use the electronic scanner when checking parts out.
- Keeping the shop and work areas clean and organized.
- Following up on repairs by testing equipment as it is normally ran.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment.
- Good communication skills with management and hourly team members.
