Education / Experience
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not
required; or one to three months' related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Employee is required to wear all safety PPE relevant to the mill safety
procedures and requirements. The employee must frequently lift and/or move
up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
Wage: $15 - $20 Depending on experience
DAYS/HRS.: Full Time Permanent Must have the ability to work weekends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for flaking all corn for the feed yard, receiving all
corn, receiving all alfalfa and whatever other commodities are necessary.
· Monitors quality of incoming corn and reports any issues to
Supervisor.
· Performs daily quality control tests on flake moisture, silage
moisture, flake weight, flake cook, conductivity testing, and softness testing.
