Position Purpose:
- This Continuous Learning Manager, Orange Apron Media manages people and processes related to the development of advanced analytics to support the company's strategic objectives through test & learn. The role works cross-functionally with business partners from Marketing, Finance, Ad Operations, Measurement, Online and IT to design and implement decision analytics, tools, and high impact tests which will impact our Onsite, Offsite & Offline business lines. This role’s responsibility is creating a testing roadmap, shepherding those tests to completion and delivering high quality analysis, translating business questions to actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytics solutions for the Home Depot. This role is expected to leverage effective communication skills to translate complex analyses into understandable insights, with a passion to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40% Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers and business analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions
- 45% Data analytics with large volumes of data, using a wide variety of database applications / analytical tools including SQL, SAS, R, and python
- 5% Data cleansing, validation, testing
- 5% Enhancements / modifications to systems & procedures
- 5% Supporting end users, problem solving, troubleshooting
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Reports to a Sr Manager, Decision Analytics.
- This position has 1 direct report
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Analytics, Finance, or Information Systems or related field is preferred
- Five to seven years of experience in analytics is preferred
- Experience in SQL, SAS, Tableau, R, python and similar tools preferred

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Paid Time Off (PTO):
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
