Material Handler Inventory Control - 1st Shift

Sidney, OH

Job Summary
Organize and maintain inventory and stock control.

Responsibilities
*Performs daily cycle counts
Communicate with the Warehouse Team as needed to ensure best work practices are being followed so that inventory is accurate.
* Investigates overages or shortage claims - Communicate with Customer Service to resolve the problem and ensure that the orders are fulfilled correctly.
* Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
* Communicate with the Warehouse Team as needed to ensure best work practices are being followed so that inventory is accurate.

Basic Qualifications
* A minimum of two (2) years material handling experience is preferred.
* High school education or equivalent
* Communication Skills - Provide clear verbal or written communication to all Team Members
* Numerical Abilities - Ability to count accurately - work spread sheets
* Teamwork - Assist team members when necessary. Always be always polite and helpful to ensure a smooth running of the warehouse. Assist in supporting the Warehouse Supervisor when needed.

Key Competencies
* Be able to work 8 Hour Shifts
* Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
